so far, I've been good, I bought a ton of vegetables yesterday after work (since I ended up going home around three, because there was absolutely nothing to do) and made broccoli soup yesterday evening, which I ate again today (and I froze the rest, I'll probably eat it next week)

tomorrow will be harder, because I go out in the evening, and there will be unhealthy food and I will have to remember that drinks have calories too, but I'll go to the fitness studio after work so it'll be okay.

I just hope I'll be able to keep up with it, because it's important...I should probably promise myself a nice reward when I've reached my goal...and small rewards along the way, because reaching my goal will take ages (10kg less...but I will already be really happy when I'm below 70kg again)

It's been rather busy around Chez Flighty lately, so sorry for my delayed well wishings. I hope everyone had a good holiday, and is looking forward to the fresh possibilities of the New Year.

I'm not really a Resolutions kind of girl, but I do have plans, if anyone would be interested to hear them. Either way, I can look back on this post a year from now and either cry or pat myself on the back. :P

so, I didn't really make any set resolutions, but I decided to try and be more active and lose some weight (because I've been gaining weight in the last months) and most of all eat healthier, because I think a lot of my problems stem from eating not enough healthy food

and because there is a 1 week free trial for weight watchers, I decided to try it...and if I actually manage to use the program, I might actually be willing to pay for it. so far, I figured out that I will have to keep track of what I eat more closely (because it's scary how much I eat just randomly during the day and don't even really remember) and go buy vegetables (because I can eat a lot of them without going over the allowed amount ^^)

I'm feeling a bit weird about this, because I always told myself that I don't need to do anything like weight watchers, but if I don't make myself watch what I eat, I just eat because I'm bored/sad/tired/there is food in the fridge. I'll see if this works, maybe paying for it will make me use it (hm...if it doesn't end up like the fitness studio, which I haven't been to in months, but I will go this week, promise!)

Okay, I know I have a lot of Final Fantasy VII fans on my f-list, so I wanted to share this link.

Case of ShinRa is a novel written by Kazushige Nojima (and now translated!) about how Rufus survived Diamond WEAPON (which he TRIED to explain to Cloud in Advent Children but was rudely cut off!), how Tseng survived Sephiroth, why Rufus is in a wheelchair, why he got Geostigma, the mystery of the black water that Kadaj was drinking, why the Turks/Rufus built that bloody memorial in Edge, and how they all ended up at Healin Lodge. Anyway, I've been engrossed with a few games this past week. And I'm pleased to announced that I have actually completed TWO games already for this 2010. Sure sure, its Plants vs Zombies and Insaniquarium (both total digital crack, I swear) and took me less than 15 hours of hardcore playing but it still counts! Both have tonnes of replayability as well as things to acquire post-game, so I expect that I'll still be madly clicking on them for a while to come.
